Referrals, Food, Hygiene, Clothes, Emergency Aid

Located next door to the Soup Kitchen, the Office of Social Services is open Monday through Friday from 10:30AM until 12:30PM.

Staffed by trained volunteers, this office provides referrals to government and other agencies such as HRS or the Broward Outreach Center. It also provides emergency food bags, hygiene kits, clothing, mental health counseling, photo I.D.’s, HIV/AIDS testing, Legal Aid, Veteran’s Assistance, transportation, and shelter referrals.

Perhaps most importantly, the Office of Social Services is a place where people in need can find an understanding friend who will listen to their story and care about their problem.
